Since Google’s January announcement about its operations in China, many of you have asked what would happen to Google China, and specifically, our ads platforms. We thank you for your patience as we considered solutions that would allow us to continue to offer Search to users in China.
On the morning of March 23, Google Inc. announced [LINK BLOG POST] that mainland Chinese users who go to [Google.cn] are now being redirected to [Google.com.hk]. Mainland Chinese users will continue to be served in simplified Chinese via our servers in Hong Kong. Your AdWords ads will be displayed on this service and your location targetting settings remain unchanged. In addition, we are still offering advertising opportunities in the Google Content Network and targeting of Google users worldwide.
Advertiser accounts remain active and ads are being served, in accordance with the terms and conditions agreed with you in your contract.
